Kristin and I first “met” over a phone call. My least favorite thing about destination weddings are phone call meetings and the Skype generated sense of connection, but with Kristin, it was easy and instant. And after knocking it out of the park during our initial design plan, we were both giddy with excitement over this wedding. In the midst of all the details, Kristin told me there were really only two things she wanted: pews for the ceremony (which were easy to find) and a table that fit all 18 members of her family (not so easy to find…), but I knew I needed to make it happen. And after a handful of meetings, we did! The table was constructed by Classic Party Rentals and draped in a couple different sized linen from La Tavola. Since the table was so large, Lux Floral had to construct the floral chandelier, another grand idea I had to make happen on this beauty, on top of the draped table since we would not be able to move it afterward. And they rocked it! Put that together with details from Confetti Studio and Idieh Design, I was over the moon with the result, and so were Kristin and Scott (the sweetheart who helped make all this happen as well.) Intimate weddings can be so lovely. And this one will forever remain the one I will never forget.
