When Chasen and Katie decided to host their wedding at Chasen’s childhood home, I was very excited.  Not only is the backyard gorgeous, but it had meaning to them.  And you know I am sucker for anything that has a deeper meaning in life…  This backyard hosted so many memories of these two, all the way down to the pitching mound where Chasen and his brother’s learned to play baseball.  Now it will forever remain the place where their love story began.  With the entire family pitching in (no pun intended) this wedding was a gorgeous affair that will forever have a place in my heart.  Thank you to Charity Maurer, Carte Blanche, Event Rents, A Bake Shop, Celebrations in Paper, Desert House, Cruisin Photo Booth and the rest of the team for making this day, the best day!

This arch was the simplest addition to the large overgrown trees in the backyard.

Wood tables with ghost chairs will always be a favorite of mine.  A little traditional mixed with modern is the perfect match for an estate affair.
